Ursula Andress | Born 1936
Ursula Andress is perhaps one of the hopefuls who were at the right place at the right time. At a party, she caught a producer’s attention and helped her secure a screen test for a part in an Italian film. The actress was successful in her initial attempt and received minor credits in movies like An American in Rome and The Sins of Casanova. In another stroke of luck, a Hollywood executive approached her.
In the late 1950s, Andress moved to Hollywood and portrayed Honey Ryder in the first-ever James Bond movie. The other films that she made are Casino Royale, Fun in Acapulco, 4 for Texas, She, and Slave of the Cannibal God, among others. At 85, Andress remains the symbol of beauty that she is.
