Nick Nolte | Born 1941

American actor Nick Nolte worked as a model early on in his career between the 1960s and 1970s, appearing on Clairol’s Summer Blonde hair lightener ad, wearing an open jean shirt and jeans. Nolte began to star in his first TV series, Rich Man, Poor Man, which was based on Irwin Shaw’s best-selling novel in 1970. The actor also had guest appearances in Griff, Barnaby Jones, and Adams of Winter Lake.

In 1992, People magazine named him the Sexiest Man Alive, while his personal choice for the recognition was Walter Cronkite. Nolte has starred in numerous films and TV series throughout his career, winning a Golden Globe Award and a nomination for an Academy Award. Clearly, he achieved a great degree of success in his chosen profession.
