Ronnie Wood | Born 1947

English rock musician Ronnie Wood rose to prominence as one of the members of the Rolling Stones since 1975, as well as other rock bands such as the Jeff Beck Group and Faces. He began his musical journey when he joined the Birds as its guitar player. In 1974, following the split of his band, Wood recorded his first solo album, I’ve Got My Own Album to Do, which featured Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones, a long-time friend of his.

Richards soon invited Wood to join the Rolling Stones, following the departure of Mick Taylor, one of the band’s members at the time. Initially, Wood joined temporarily and eventually became an official member in 1976. As a member of the Rolling Stones, in 1989, Wood was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
