Ted Turner | Born 1938

Ted Turner has immortalized his name in the history books as the founder of the pioneer of 24-hour news, CNN, and WTBS, an independent TV station. Working in the field of business, he began learning the technicalities at a young age; having a father who owns an advertising company had helped mold him. However, despite having stable finances and a secured future, the young Turner had a rather difficult life.

He didn’t have a good relationship with his dad. After a tragic incident in the family, Turner succeeded his father as the head of the business. He started to drown himself with work to cope with his grief. Eventually, Turner’s efforts bore fruit. He made investments in several businesses until he founded CNN.
