One of the most memorable toys from our childhood is toy cars. And, when it comes to toy cars, Mattel’s Hot Wheels is certainly the most famous line for palm-sized toy cars. Hot Wheels have been one of the most sold toys in the market over the past few decades, and interestingly, there are some palm-sized cars that are extremely valuable!

Among the most valuable Hot Wheels is the “1969 Volkswagen Beach Bomb” prototype.” It’s designed with surfboards hanging out the back window, and it has wheels that are quite large for Mattel’s race tracks. Interestingly, this model never went into massive production, and it’s the reason why this model is incredibly valuable to any collector. Anyone who has this model is easily looking at a return-on-investment of around $125,000.
