Fans of science-fiction films will probably have the Star Trek franchise in their favorite TV and movie list. One of the franchise’s actors is William Shatner, who takes credit for playing the iconic Capatin James Kirk in the TV series and the films produced throughout the following years. However, it is worth noting that before becoming part of the popular franchise, Shatner worked as a stage actor.

He gradually transitioned into film and wrote a few episodes for T.J. Hooker in 1982. Aside from being Captain Kirk, Shatner also takes pride in portraying Denny Crane in the TV series The Practice. He has also starred in the show Boston Legal where he gained a significant appreciation and received numerous accolades.
