Blue Ivy – Beyonce’s Daughter

At nine years old, Blue Ivy is a spitting image of her pop star mother, Beyonce. Tina Knowles, Beyonce’s mother, shared a throwback photo of the diva during her elementary school days. The picture reminds Tina of Blue Ivy who inherited most of her mother’s features. The photo reveals the little Beyonce wearing her old school uniform: a white-collared top, plaid overalls, and a big bow atop her hair.

Beyonce started her career as the lead singer of the prominent R&B group Destiny’s Child together with big names like Kelly Rownland and Michelle Williams. She eventually separated with the group and released her first solo album, which surprisingly secured her 5 Grammy Awards and sold over 10 million copies worldwide. Beyonce takes credit for immensely popular songs such as Déjà vu, Irreplaceable, and Beautiful Liar. Interestingly, a species of an Australian horsefly was named after her: Scaptia beyoncea.
