Sally Field | Born 1946
Sally Field has gone big on both TV and movie scenes. However, her journey to stardom is not without its struggles. During her formative years as a child, she was subject to psychological and verbal abuse by her stepdad. Field managed to cope by involving herself in the school drama club. Having learned the ins and outs of the craft, Field was offered the lead role in the TV series The Flying Nun at the age of 21.
However, Field yearned for more substantial roles despite the credit she received. She continually broke loose from mediocre parts and pursued what she wanted. The actress has two Oscar Awards under her belt as Best Actress in a Leading Role to date.
