Patrick Wayne | Born 1939

At the early age of 11, Patrick Wayne made his career debut in his father’s film, Rio Grande, in 1950. This was followed by The Quiet Man, The Sun Shines Bright, The Long Gray Line, Miss Roberts, and The Searchers. Wayne also did several TV works, including Rookie of the Year and Flashing Spikes. As his career began to flourish, the actor continued to star in many other films over the years.

Wayne earned credit and recognition in the sci-fi genre in his father’s 1971 film Big Jake. His career subsequently took its peak in the late 1970s, starring in the popular matinee fantasy Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger, as well as The People That Time Forgot and Superman. He’s currently retired from acting, living in Arizona.
