Rowan Francis Henchy – Brooke Shields’ Son

Starting her career as a child model, Brooke Shields received her earliest credit at the age of 12 years old for a lead role in the Louis Malle-directed film Pretty Baby. During her teenage years, she thrived in her modeling career and starred in subsequent movies including The Blue Lagoon and Endless Love. In 1983, Shields took a step back from her career to acquire a degree in Romance languages. She subsequently returned and starred in NBC’s Suddenly Susan; for her extraordinary performance, Shields received two Golden Globe nods. The actress’ most recent role was in 2017 in the 19th season of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

The Calvin Klein model is a loving mother to two daughters: Rowan Francis and Grier Hammond. The former has been conceived after more than five rounds of fertility treatments. Rowan grew up in New York City and has a tight-knit relationship with her mom.
